Vegan Friendly Breakfast Donuts

This no bake donut breakfast is probably the most tastiest protein balls I have had since whenever. I just find protein balls very swett, sticky and not very tasty. They are overloaded with dates and maple syrup and cocoa. But this one was actually nice little change. The cashew nuts with little bit of conout and maple syrup to be topped off with 85% dark chocolate to kill the extra sweetness… yeah, I can eat that. Just be aware – it is very high in protein and calories – in case you are watching.

Ingredients:

1 cup of cashew nuts

1/2 cup of pitted dates

1 tbs of whey powder

3/4 cup of shredded coconut

2 tbs maple syrup

1 tsp turmeric powder

some dark chocolate to cover

Directions:

Put all the ingredients into the food processor and mix it until its smooth(ish).

Press the mix into the donut forms and leave it fridge to set for 1 hour

Press the shapes out from the tray and spread over the chocolate.

Leave in the fridge for overnight.
