Figs and blue cheese on rye bread delicious lunch idea

This is super delicious and easy to do. I would make this if I know I have visitors coming, for Sunday brunch or maybe just because I feel like I deserve some luxury treat. The pallet in this beautiful open sandwich is the sweetness, the sour from vinegar and salty from the blue cheese.

Perfect food for opening and balancing your third eye chakra.

Ingredient:

8 figs

1/2 brown sugar

2 tsp of runny honey

Extra virgin olive oil

4 slices the rye bread

140g of corgonzola blue cheese

8 slices Parma ham

1tbs balsamic vinegar

Instruction:

Heat oven to 160C.

Quarter your figs and place them to ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with sugar, drizzle with olive oil and roast 20 minutes.

Toast your bread, spread it with the juice from the roasted figs. Place blue cheese on top, then place ham on top. Add the figs and sprinkle over the balsamic vinegar.

ENJOY!
